Visual Tributes

Our aim is to always present visual tributes at the optimum quality.

Photographs submitted for use in services are commonly older and sometimes faded, marked or torn - in other words, in less than perfect condition.

All photos have basic restoration and colour correction carried out, but we will contact you if a greater level of repair work would be of benefit. Unless we are asked to leave all photos ‘as is’, they may also be re-cropped to remove excessive sky or other background to have maximum effect in the tribute.

Prints and slides are scanned with great care using a high definition, professional scanner. Elements of a photograph may also be ‘Photoshopped’ if required.

At present, we can also convert footage from cine film (both standard and super 8) as well as VHS, mini DV and DVDs to be incorporated in the tribute. If you have something in a different format, please ask – we should be able to help. We’ve even used audio from 78rpm vinyl records and from a novelty alarm clock!

A brief discussion with you will determine any preferences for the style of slideshow to be created, background colour and texture, text overlays etc. If you don’t express a preference, we use a classic look slideshow with a simple transition between photos as this is appropriate for most services. All slideshows are timed to fit perfectly with your chosen music.

Not all churches, chapels and other venues have audio-visual equipment available for playing your visual tributes. There may even be a need to relay the service to a second chapel or even outside. We have a wide selection of TV screens, projectors, speaker systems, HDMI networks etc, that can deliver your specific requirements. Please contact us and we will find a solution for you.
